Bought a second and will likely buy a third
This is the second Nixon Baja I have bought. I loved the first one, but it died after about two and a half years. That's why bought the second one. I gave the watch four stars because I feel it should have lasted longer. It was GREAT while it lasted. It really did take a beating. I especially liked the velcro strap/band. I would compare it to a Casio G Shock, only a little more stylish.

DIDN'T LAST ONE ROUND
I would give this product .075 stars if possible!!! I arrive at that figure this way. Because I play about 50 rounds per year and I expected the product to last about a year, that means I would award 1/10 of a star per round. IT NEVER MADE IT THROUGH THE FIRST ROUND. By hole 15 of the first round I played after purchasing the Groveit the magnets had separated and it was lost on the course, though the clip was still secured to my bag. I retraced my path hoping to find it, but no luck. $25 is too much to pay for less that one round of use. I wonder if the product was tested before it was marketed. Maybe stronger magnets could be used, or another means devised to secure the cleaner to the clip... but that might increase production costs. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Great features, good price, but nothing lasts forever!
I first bought this model, perhaps eight years ago, I'm not certain. It came as part of a Bose system with a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. I was perfectly happy with the entire system and, over the years, I have heard good things about Onkyo products. I rarely used the system, maybe ten to twenty hours per year, maximum, and there was never a problem. About six months ago I went on vacation and the receiver was working fine the day before I left. Upon returning I found that it would not power on. I looked into having it checked out at a repair shop and discovered that the cost of diagnosis and repair, depending on the availability of parts, would be more costly than replacing it with a used one listed on ebay. I chose the latter. Considering the cost and features, it is a good buy. Obviously, I say this because I bought a second one. It's too bad that we now live in a world where so many of our electronic gadgets are "disposable." Too bad this receiver is/was not made by TIMEX. (You older readers will understand what I mean.)
