About Us.
As with all hobbies, I dove headfirst into the deep end, tracking down local hobby stores and scouring the internet for all things Gunpla. After being a consumer of this market for a few months (and amassing a massive backlog), I always felt something lacking in the scale and service provided by the market. Being someone who can't leave well enough alone, I sought to remedy this by building it myself and in June 2022, I founded Gundamaker.

In general, hobby shops tend to be "lifestyle" businesses, which tend to focus less on scale and customer service. Using my background to apply a growth mindset, I set out to build the opposite with the following goals:

Get everyone back to building and making things with their hands.
Provide a better customer experience to the Gunpla/hobby market.
Provide a massive selection of products in one location.
Grow the Gunpla/hobby market.

This kit arrived a little late due to Royal Mail not delivering it and sending it back to sender but the company were fantastic and kept in touch with me right throughout the process. They sent me out a new kit and it arrived very quickly it was well packaged and everything was in good condition thank you so very much. Seller refunded, said I had to purchase a different auction that was $20 more and shipped from China because it wasn't available in their US warehouse. Seller later found it in their US warehouse and offered it at the original price, however I had already found it elsewhere for less than the sellers original asking price. I'm not going to rate this neutral or negative because the seller honestly communicated everything clearly and offered the original price again without me asking.
