New Wave NWKA 1200W Multi Function Pizza Maker (Black)
17 October 2016
Best Value
We purchased this recently based on its specification and it was significantly cheaper than other brands with the same specs. We wee a bit suspicious that of its capability as normally you only get what you pay for but in this case this product is excellent value and does everything it promises. Making pizza is a very personal thing these days with many variations to recipes and so a bit of experimentation is needed to get the settings right for the type of pizza you like. For us, we like traditional pizza with minimal toppings and make our own dough from scratch. We get a perfect pizza in about 5-6 minutes cooking with heat setting to the maximum "3" setting. If you can't cook a good pizza in this oven, you are doing something yourself! Only one very minor criticism I have is that the timer does not turn the heat off when it finishes, it is just a warning that it is finished. You have to attend to it to turn the heat off and take the pizza out or it continue cooking. However while you still have to take the pizza out even if the heat is turned off (to stop it continuing to cook), the issue is that if cooking multiple pizzas, you have to remember to turn the heat down to pre-heat level while you are preparing to put in the next pizza or it will most likely over-cook. Its not a deal breaker but would have been a nice touch.
