Not fit for purpose
1 of 1 found this helpful OEM FLY021 strimmer wire is held in the spool by a wax type adhesive in order to keep tension in the spool and to stop it un-raveling. The picture in the listing shows this type of wire (red with integral thread re-enforcement). What was delivered was the aftermarket (blue) wire with no adhesive which unravels by itself and tangles itself in knots after only minutes of use. I have experienced this with the very cheap replacements in the past. This product is fit for purpose for a Flymo Contour 500XT (for which FLY021) is the recommended replacement part.
