Consistantly under or over cooks the egg.
Egg is either over done or partially cooked. Tried several power settings and cook times. I like the idea, but in 15+ tries, have not yet gotten a satisfactorily cooked egg, as compared to traditional stove top cooking methods. On standard setting, and egg is rotating on the turntable, you can hear loud pops starting at 20 seconds. Best so far was 1 minute at 30% power. But still, over cooked and clear whites came out at the same time. Tried egg as is and also with the yolk popped with a fork. The issue is that egg shells are known to carry salmonella, and if the egg is cracked improperly, the shell may contaminate the egg and under cooking becomes an issue. The product is easy to clean and yes, I still use it. I end up putting the egg on toast and then putting back in microwave for another 30 seconds to finish off the runny clear whites. Just me. But if I was cooking for a family, there would be issues every day in making the kids happy.

Bad switch - too much trouble to return.
Bad switch. I see additional negative feedback reviews saying the same thing. I just cut out the switch and wired it direct and it works 24/7 which it would anyway with the switch on.

Coarse, does not mix in as well as local store bought cinnamon.
1 of 2 found this helpful While the brand name is Ceylon, made by Herbs of India, nowhere else does it state that it is true Ceylon cinnamon and not cassia cinnamon. The main reason to buy Ceylon cinnamon is that the coumarin content is supposed to the lowest of all types of cinnamon. It is coumarin that causes side effects and as that is well known, I would have expected the manufacturer to boldly state the fact this is actually 'Ceylon cinnamon' instead of simply using the name Ceylon as a brand. The lack of any such statement is an issue for me and I will not buy this exact product again due to the coumarin content question. The label states "100% Pure Cinnamon Powder" and there is no mention as to the source or type of cinnamon such as cassia or Ceylon, other than a 'name'.
I mix in instant ice tea, by the gallon jug and I start with 2" of HOT water in the jug to dissolve the tea mix and the cinnamon, and shake well before I fill the container with water. This cinnamon is poorly dissolved and there is a very fine granular residue in the tea that I do not find with cassia types of ground cinnamon. Other than that, the taste is not as bold as local store bought cassia cinnamon. Not bad. But takes a getting used to when expecting a 'cinnamon taste'.
