Best Housedog In The World

I unpacked her and plugged her in right away to charge. The next day I went over the directions and let her loose. Wow, wow, wow!
We have a ranch home so there was no need for barriors or electronic walls. D.D. is so easy to use and she lets me know right away if she is in danger by stopping and beeping.
We have a St. Bernard (short hair) and a domestic short hair cat indoors - plenty of hair. I have only swept twice since I got her 2 weeks ago. Her charge lasts a long time - around 1 1/2 hours of cleaning.
I had read many reviews, so I knew she would make noise running. I like that, it means I can hear where she is working.
Before I set her loose in the morning I pull up the bathroom rugs and any tiny area rugs, bring them outside to shake, and leave them off the floor while D.D. works.
She does a good job around cords, however I try to move the big ones anyway so she doesnt tip a lamp by accident.
Once they saw her run the pets were fine with her. They usually go lay in their beds, knowing she will not touch them there.
I empty her dirtcup and clean her (2) brushes after each use. That does not take long and it assures me she is ready to go the next time I need her. She is so easy to clean!
Her only problem spot is: under nightstands. Sometimes she gets under a nightstand and then cannot figure out how to get out again.
I love the simple power button on top! When the phone rings I just tap her power button and it is silent so I can hear the telephone and talking.
I am glad to have chosen the Dirt Dog! She picks up dog food, bone pieces, cat litter, crafting supplies like glitter, and virtually anything in her path.
I was downright amazed at her performance in the bathroom. Everyone who has pets knows how pethair clings to tile floors!! I put her in the bathroom the first day and shut the door. When she was done I went back in - it was so clean! A quick mopping and the floor looked brand new! In the past that was one of my more hated tasks - sweeping the bathroom floor. If I didn't do a good job then mopping became a nightmare. With D.D.'s help it is a breeze to clean that room.
Love this gadget and am saving up now to get her sister - scooba!
