Great build but check your fitment first!
Unfortunately, these units do NOT fit Alloytec motors and I have had to begin a return of my item. These units will suit oil filters that mount direct to the motor, but they do not fit the enclosed oil filter on the Alloytec V6.
Overall build quality is what you expect from SAAS though and the unit is nice and solid, but double check your setup and installation before ordering one!

Great value, great looks, easy install!
Fantastic looks, full billet body, changeable handles, feels so much better than the Holden plastic shifter! Installed in my 06 VZ to replace the dodgy factory shifter that was damaged by PO at some point and was wobbly and felt ready to fall apart everytime I rested my hand on it. It took me a while to get it all fit up, but overall instructions are pretty clear and if you've pulled apart your console before, you'll be able to leap ahead pretty quickly. The shifter is so much heavier being billet, looks great and feels so much better! You will need to remove the entire centre console, so set aside some time to perform installation. All up took me around an hour fit to finish.
Unit is extremely high quality billet, lever action is simple but sturdy. Great alternative if you don't want to go through the hassle of installing a B&M base unit or similar and just want to upgrade the shifter for the time being.
NOTE: If after taking off your OEM shifter handle, your shifter rod setup has two small knobs on it, you will have to snip these and possibly doing some filing down of the shifter rod shaft to get a correct fit to have the Aeroflow shifter sit snug and for proper engagement when pulling the shifter in, otherwise the push down will not engage the rod correctly. Also note that you may have your shifter handle rest on your headunit when in park. I'm looking into how to adjust the shifter angle to help get around this, but overall a very minor concern. Possible that my shifter base is actually a bit out of whack, so yours may or may not do this.
