So Far So Good
The item arrived quickly and fit well. I was surprised that it is so light. The original is steel thread-reinforced and this one does not appear to be. Nonetheless it is working well now. It will be interesting to see how long it will continue to hold up, but for now I am fully satisfied.

Good replacement
This cord reel was a great replacement for the one in my old vacuum. It went in pretty easily once I figured out how to install it. Some direction would have been helpful. Luckily the high tech 2100 is about like the other Electrolux on YouTube so just watch that video and you will be in pretty good shape.
