The new Gerber Center Drive Plus
The tool is great the pouch is excellent and i love the centerdrive, The only negative is the difficulty in accessing the internal tools, they are too sticky to access easily. Also the Leatherman OHT has a better needle tip for the pliers, it didn't have the file though which I used a lot on my original Gerber OHT. The new Gerber magnetic multi tools have easier to access smaller tools. Overall I really like this tool, even though my Leatherman OHT has been my go too EDC for years. The main reason being the center drive tool and the ability to replace the tips, so it, the blade being on the outside, the pliers having replaceble blades[so does the Leatherman] and and the decent leather pouch are the main reason to go to the Center drive plus. My First OHT was a Gerber and I carried it for more than 10 years. I then switched to the Leatherman about 5 years ago. Now I carry the Center Drive Plus. However i do miss that all the tools are accessed from the outside of the Leatherman OHT.
