My Expectations Mislead Me
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book for the value of the index. I was going to memorize the 31 Bible verses that capture the essence of God's nature and God's relationship with his people. It turns out that the 31 promises are just affirmations created by the author and not from the Bible at all. If you're looking for a rah-rah book from a self-help guru, maybe this is for you. If you're looking for Biblical promises of God described by a pastor, you'll be as disappointed as I was. I threw the book away.
