Best PI tube for your Guitar Amplifier
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this Long Plate balanced tube for the Phase Inverter position
in my Mesa Mark 3 amplifier. This tube does the best job in this position of any tube I've ever used before but the drawback is very short life from this tube. Only the good die young. This tube is worth the trouble for Sonic nirvana.

12BZ7 instead of 12AX7
These tubes interchange with 12AX7 and have higher headroom before distorting. Wonderful pricing compared with NOS 12AX7

This tube is every thing people think and more, oh so smooth and clear. Truly one of a kind
and takes care of any harsh/shrill top end.
Can't go wrong with either NOS pre/post amp Mullard tubes
