Great for trimming timber, especially dowel
The zero set teeth gives absolute flush cutting of dowel or other unwanted timber projection without burring. I have also used it to trim iron-on timber edging without the need for any significant sanding of the edging.
The wide thin blade makes precision cutting a breeze. I intend to use it for dovetailing but have not tried it yet for that purpose.
A valuable addition to my tool box.

A great learning experience for young people
Working to the instructions, the motor is sufficiently complex but straight forward to build and results in a product that gives ongoing pleasure for the builder to show and tell with pride.
It is too early to comment on 'durability' but is definitely entertaining. I would recommend it to any young person wanting to improve their mechanical skills.
