NEW Monopoly 1935 First Deluxe Edition Classic Reproduction, 2002 Sealed NIB

This is the game I remembered and loved.

This is a reproduction of the original game. The newer "themed" versions don't give the same experience - but this one nails it. The houses and hotels are painted wood, larger and heavier than the modern pieces I've seen. These work better on the very sturdy board and don't seem to bounce out of place while the dice are rolled. It wouldn't be original, but I wish the playing cards: "community chest", "chance", and "property deeds" were available like these but with plastic or laminated surfaces. That would really increase the durability and enable better shuffling.
