Good suction, batter, dust bin ***BUT*** too heavy vs DC59 or V6.
8 of 11 found this helpful we upgraded from DC59 motorhead and ended up regretting it. DC59 (V6) was about 4 lbs. The V10 is close to 6 lbs. Funny how 2 little lbs makes such as difference as it takes a toll on cleaning jobs lasting more than several seconds. The effort it takes to move it around (which the Dyson is always in constant motion when being used), the weird grip and the protruding dirt holding tank in front of the trigger...all adds up to muscle soreness.
Yes - the suction power is strong and may than satisfactory, battery lasts much longer, simple switch to increase/decrease suction, and the dustbin ejection is better than DC59/v6. But at the end of the day, the extra added heft makes it lesser and lesser compelling for some impromptu clean jobs.
It'll probably stay in the charger more often than the old one.

May be better off by spend that extra $10 to get a complete charger
If you already have a AC power adapter, then this may be fine. If not, it's probably easier to get a version of this with the AC power adapter.
This is pretty much the same standard charger that you find under various brands for around $40-$50. So value-wise, it's good. Saving a few dollars.
The user interface isn't reading-manual-free. I usually can figure things out easily without reading the user manual. But this...has required reading materials to understand how to operate it.
Lastly - I wished I didn't buy it after waiting weeks for it to show up. So if you'd like a charger sooner than waiting weeks for it, buy it somewhere else. It's pretty much the same charger, just different brand with different accessories.
