New life for my shaver

This rechargeable battery was a perfect replacement in the Wahl electric clipper/trimmer I have. The old battery was completely dead and made the shaver unusable. Without this replacement battery, the shaver would have gone to the landfill. The body of the shaver came apart by pushing in the plastic clips on the sides and the battery was soldered into the circuit board by the tabs on the battery terminals. The new battery is identical to the old and was a perfect fit after soldering in place. The Li-Ion 14500 is the same size as a AA alkaline battery but rechargeable and carries 3.6 volts rather than the 1.5 of the alkaline.

Perfect replacement part

I'm bringing an old motorcycle back to life and you can't do any better than using NOS (new old stock). It's getting tough to find parts for a 43 year old motorcycle and ebay sellers like this make it possible. Thank you!

Ridgid R213BNE 2-1/8 in. 18-Gauge Brad Nailer Reconditioned

Half price but cosmetically secondhand.

I am not unhappy with the brad nailer, for the amount of use it will get it is a good compromise. Do not expect it to be reconditioned to like new condition. I assume the factory brought the internals of the tool up to specs and should perform as new, it is cosmetically a used piece. The exterior of the nailer and the soft case is scuffed and dirty like the previous owner last used it. I didn't buy it for the looks so I am fine with that as long as it works as new. Driving a few test brads, it works perfectly. I returned a new brad nailer I purchased from a bargain tool franchise because it left dents in the wood with each firing, This unit does not do that, driving a brad in cedar or oak equally well and leaving no dents.
