Loving, heartbreaking and foot tapping songs.
Every character has some baggage, which engages you from the start. The music , an expression of the feelings they are going through within the story line. There has not been one episode which I have not shed a tear.

Captivating
There are the two halves to this show, and each is so engaging. Tom Hardy is enchanting as he is with the young Queen and their story is one as old as time, but it takes you to the Queen making a startling announcement. The second part is when Hans Matheson enters the story, his eyes and his manner to the Queen are as compelling as he is to watch, I was left wanting more scenes with him in them, my copy is nearly worn out, lovely period movie which takes you away.....

Great characters, in a era past
The characters are so engaging , especially Alec ( Hans Matheson ), the relationship or lack of from Tess and the passion of the man who desperately wants her, though showing not well his intentions. Must admit, I was waiting for every scene which Alec was in as those scenes were the most engaging.
