Music of the Heart
This movie, based on real life events, highlights the struggles of one woman to continue to include the arts, specifically music, in the public educational life of students. The movie is well-acted, and also enlists a wonderful cast of real-life musical superstars who join in solidarity to prove the arts' worth as a subject of study for all children. Our society seems to go in cycles: first the arts are "in", then "out"; meanwhile students are not always treated as whole human beings when the arts are in question. This movie is a reminder of the essential value of arts education, and is inspirational for those of us whose lives are dedicated to arts education.

Glass storage with vented lids
The quality is very good, sturdy glass, tight lids. If anything, the lids fit so tightly that I have to work both to close and open them. Not a bad thing. The best part is that the vented lids (nearly impossible to find with glass containers!) permit you to steam food in the microwave without using plastic steamers! There are 5 different sizes. I have used the two largest so far, but can imagine both storing and steaming much smaller amounts of food in the smaller ones. Perfect for a single person, or for small but usable amounts of leftovers.
