Panasonic RQ V150
I bought the original panasonic RQ v150 walkman around 1989 when I was working in midtown NYC. I owned the radio for many years, but it had quality issues. The headphone jack broke, the belt broke and other parts went bad. I realize it was made in Taiwan which could be part of the reason why the quality wasn't good. In fact, anything made in Taiwan back then was like anything made in China today. I ordered another one to replace this from EBAY and it is working great. However, I do know I'll need to be careful in how I handle it since it could break as easily as the first one did. Also, it uses alot of battery power quickly.. It's not like a sony that was made in Japan back then...
