Ideal for situations where extra filtration required without higher turnover
Overall a useful product although the lid clips are fiddly especially the one that is partially covered by the inlet fixture. I used it to add a nitrate filter to the external Fluval filter on a dwarf Indian puffer tank. Don't forget to order the extra hoses you will need.

Red Sea replacement
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this to replace the skimmer in my Red Sea Max . The unit is compact and fits in the rear compartment of the tank , it's a fraction of the size of the Red sea unit and runs much cooler and quieter. It's been in use for a few weeks now and seems to be more than adequate for purpose
