Irritating

After just a couple of days, areas of my face became rough, raw and sore. I quit using the product, and the "on fire" burning sensation has ceased, but I continue to be scaly and dry a week later. Not sure if I should try it again in a lesser quantity as I was already using less than recommended. I've never experienced this kind of reaction with any product, so do not know if it just isn't compatible with my skin or if it's a bad product.
