Certainly worth the expense...
I have had several Intex Airbeds over the years and they all seem to spring leaks at about the 6month mark. Small pin holes about the seams. This is an updated model without the raised pillow section so I am interested to see if the same problem arises. Those pin holes could be patched but the leakage would still occur over a few nights and the bed was never the same. I will see how this new model fairs compared to my last 4 beds.
