Probably should have played a bit more!
I had to file the pins of the pliers so they would fit into the circlip in my internal door handles and the pliers wouldn't open quite enough to easily remove the circlip. It was much easier using this tool than trying to bodge it with screwdrivers and ordinary pliers.
