Ipod touch g1 limited
The 1st generation Ipod Touch can only use IOS v.3.13 which greatly limits it's capabilities, especially app compatibility, compared to all the later generation.
Sorry I don't know about battery life yet, mine needed a new battery and I just replaced it. Oh....it was a difficult install due to soldering of 3 tiny wires to the board. All other generation have a plug in connection.
