Excellent resource
Excellent resource that provides just the right amount of detail on some 70 different paddling locations scattered throughout NorCal.

Highly recommended
I really like these Givi Tanklock tank bags. Because they don't rest on the tank so they don't damage the paint. Especially important if you do offroad riding. The attachment mechanism works quickly and easily yet is strong and secure. This looks like a small bag but it actually holds quite a bit - 12oz water biottle, glasses, baseball cap, plus many more small items. Although it came with a rain cover, it is also fairly water resistant.
