Forget about crispy pastry! 😖🥴🥺
I had a state of the art (way back then) Panasonic Panacrunch microwave it had a round pan with a detachable handle & it was epic at anything & everything and lasted years until human error ended it.
This chunk of numptyness seems to steam the hell out of everything (even without any water in the tank)! Everything is hot but not crunchy or crispy or anywhere close to an ‘oven done’ texture. This model should be recalled & folks money returned. It looks good & the look of it is impressive but being all show & no go.. tis pants, AVOID!

Refuge in a book
Absolutely beautiful illustrations & poignant writing that seems to connect deeply with most people whom read it.
A wonderful insight & reminder that it is as important to be kind to yourself as others.
That Love & cake are 2 of the most important things that make this world a better place.
If you are feeling despairing then dip into the pages & recharge.
There is also an audio CD available which makes an excellent accompaniment to the book as it gives more detail on Charlie Mackesy’s winderful characters.
I bought the audio CD for a dear friend with macula degeneration (whom is all but blind) & she said how lovely it was, she said it it was a very profound & kindly story.
It is encouraging and life affirming without being at all trite or over the top.
Simplistic but emotive illustrations.
Just beautiful 💖
