I won and paid for two tubes from this seller. However, this seller said he sold me one tube twice and offered to refund the small amount paid on the first bid. I suggested to the seller that if one tube was sold twice, the second winning bid should be refunded, but the seller unilaterally canceled the transaction and issued a refund. I think these sellers should be given some kind of penalty on eBay. The first winning bid was $9.50, and the second winning bid was $20.50.

poor initial quality
Have owned 5 of these and two were dead out of the box.

Good quality filters and NSF rated too
That's it.... these are good quality and also NSF approved so I have a measure of confidence over the CheapChineseCrappo ones

Fantastic Cartridge and +++step up from 501
1 of 1 found this helpful I currently own 2 VPI tables with one having a 901 ii and the other using a 901 iii. Previous cartridges were a 501 ii and the other table had a Airy3 (which to me was very bright and strident). The 901 iii is very mellow yet articulate with tons of detail and tone. Not harsh nor edgy. The 901 ii and 901 iii are both a significant step up from the 501ii. Can't comment on this seller as mine came from HK. I highly recommend spending as big as possible on a top drawer cartridge if you are like me and have trashed your high-end CD player/DAC !
