Surprisingly well made for price

Chinese made quick detach latch parts are slightly different than factory Harley parts (different diameter holes). Other than that it is well made.

You get what you pay for.

Mounted this box on a very sturdy 1/8 inch steel mount on my 2016 Low Rider with factory Harley detachable mount kit. I didn't mount the included chrome rack on the box lid. The good: I wanted carry items without them getting wet or needing a bunch of bungee cords and this box fills that need (for now). It looks good without being too big for mid size motorcycle. The bad: The lid sits over the box with a gap all around and rattles very badly unless a passenger is leaning against it, moves around so badly that it comes unlatched unless locked with the key every time bike is ridden. I put rubber auto door edging around box top and it helped a little. Box is constructed of thin abs and opens forward instead of sideways which makes it worse because it flexes so badly paint was cracking after first ride with a passenger leaning against it. I also cut down factory backrest, just personal preference because it is thick and wife didn't like it. If you want a cheap box to haul you lunchbox and jacket in, this will work for you. I will be looking for something of better quality.
