Pretty good movie
4 of 4 found this helpful Our boy (2-1/2 years old) watches Cars every night before bed, so we bought this one in hopes of finding an alternative since we have Cars memorized. Well, there are quite a few scary scenes for a kid this young.
In addition, while the overall theme is positive, there is a lot of negative talk from the grasshoppers. Kids at a young age pick up on words like stupid and idiot (also in Cars) and it can be tough to train them not to use them. Wall-E is one of my favorites because there is hardly any dialog, no scary scenes, and the whole movie is pretty positive.
Anyway, kids 4 and up (to about 35 years old) will enjoy the A Bugs Life. Just be sure to sit with them every so often to reinforce the good behavior of the characters and condemn the bad.
