Fun Series, Comfortingly Familiar
1 of 3 found this helpful It's The Golden Girls, you probably pretty much know what you're getting if you buy this. Picture fidelity is not great, I think that's a hard thing to find with a series from this era, but it isn't crucial to the stories. It looks just fine for the kind of basic sitcom that it is, and it's plenty clear enough to show the brilliance of the cast, who are all terrific. It has occasional problems; from the perspective of today, it seems pretty backward with regard to race and sexuality sometimes, but it's good-hearted and never unkind. Great one-liners, impeccably delivered, and deep, rich character development. Little of it is serialized, but some pieces are, and it's nice to have the whole series so as to be able to follow all of that in order.

Worth It As An Occasional Treat
Very expensive but a super-thorough clean, really clears out the pores. Light, non-irritating fragrance, barely there.

Gets Skin Very Clean
1 of 1 found this helpful I haven't noticed any fading on sun damage spots, but this "oil" (it is really a mild surfactant), combined with the matching soap, gets my super-oily skin clean, clean, clean! I can feel the air in my pores again after using them. And the liquid alone, without soap added, is nice when skin is feeling sensitive or I'm tired. Less of a deep clean but still fresh.
Sometimes I combine this liquid first step with the Erno Laszlo Sea Mud soap as a second step. That gets good results too. Overall I think the Lighten & Brighten is even more effective at cleaning out pore gunk than Laszlo's Exfoliating and Detoxifying cleansing "oil."
A little spreads a long way, so it lasts a long time and is well worth the price. Cost per use is negligible.
Light, fresh, citrusy scent, barely there, rinses very clean. Should be non-irritating for most skin types; however I do think it will be drying for dry types. In my opinion this product is best for average to oily skins.
