Liked the book so much, I bought it
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a member of Soka Gakkai, so my opinion of the subject of this book is pretty much a foregone conclusion. However, I always try to keep an open mind, and it was with an open mind that I decided to read Encountering the Dharma. Good, bad or otherwise, I was prepared to read whatever R. H. Seager had to say.
I am pleased that report that this outsider looking at the Soka Gakkai and Dr. Ikeda arrived at many of the same conclusions that I have. It's an interesting and entertaining read, and will hold the interest of anyone wanting further insight into the Soka Gakkai and Dr. Ikeda.
I read a borrowed copy. I found enough merit in the book that I bought my own copy.
