Could be more in the packet -but still worth it.
1 of 1 found this helpful For DCC only -Effective with insulfrog points from most manufacturers and makes both routes from turnouts live . Most effective when you have digital sound and like to hear idling or steam sounds and have led lit buffers. You could make them yourself if you have a supply of springy 0.6mm n.s wire as i have but not worth the trouble -i have lost more than i have used!!!

Good quality of sound but needs careful fitting.
Not even an instruction leaflet in the packaging and not for the faint hearted if you haven't assembled your own speaker enclosure previously.- Well- all the parts are there but unless you are reading this you will have needed to trawl around looking for various reviews/pictures or made a few errors on the way.
Bottom line is that the speaker diaphragm is installed back to front with the lugs for soldering on the top(suitably pulled/eased out as they seem to be designed for a daft push fit using single strand wire)
Thereafter the spacer surrounds and enclosure bottom are very carefully superglued together.
I did not do this properly to start with and the speaker emitted a lot of fizzing/buzzing and very low volume.
I persevered -reglued and added vinyl tape and the difference was bizarre -far better than the replaced hornby speaker that was too big. Even the clanking of the con rods was audible I used the deepest enclosure in the kit.
This speaker will now be my preferred option
