Excellent MP3 player, awesome battery life, easy to use.
I bought the Sony walkman NWZ_S545 to replace an older 4gb Sony Walkman that I accidentally washed. I love the easy to use features. I like the control of dragging and dropping mp3s into folders and sub-folders. I considered an IPOD but really do not like the control of itunes. I often plug my Sony from my laptop to my desktop and even ny computer at work and I can access the mp3s without losing any of them, or worring if I have the most current Itune software.
My older sony did not have external speakers, and I am surprised to find this is an option I do use and like. Not real loud but nice on the nightstand. Battery life is phenominal.
If I could change one thing about the NWZ-S545 it would be where the head phones plug in. I prefer the plug be at the top so when you are holding it to fast forward skip or reverse the wire not come under your hand as I have accidentally unplugged my headphones while on the treadmill.
Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase
