Excelsior River Raid, Excelsior!
1 of 1 found this helpful I can still recall the hours I spent with my cousins playing River Raid on the Atari 2600 back in the 80's. In my opinion, it was revolutionary for it's day and provided the player a challenge and a tease. It never got old or frustrating to the point that you didn’t want to consistently beat your high score. It's amazing that a game that came on the market about 25 years ago still has this much playability. If you've never played River Raid in your youth, or if you're new to Atari, I suggest you consider adding this gem to you collection. You won't be disappointed. In fact, you’ll probably be shocked that 2 hours flew by while playing an 8 bit gaming system. Excelsior River Raid!
