Neat solution for transferring male RCA audio outputs to a 3.5mm jack
Bought as a means to attach headphones to a games console where the display has no audio-out, and the only cable options are SCART, or S-Video/Composite and male RCA for L/R Audio, and as a quick alternative to custom-building a more complicated interface to do the job. The adapter is well-made and does the job admirably. The only drawback I found is that inserting a standard 3.5mm headphone jack fully into the socket results in mono output on one side only - entirely possible this is by design. Pulling the jack out slightly clips it into the correct position for stereo.

Well-made and adaptable switch
Bought to act as a 50/60Hz switch in an Atari Jaguar console, occupying the space reclaimed by removing the RF Modulator. 12mm is the perfect fit, completely obscuring the existing square slot in the back of the case (though the switch is quite long and there's only a couple of millimetres clearance between the rear end of the switch and the motherboard!). The red button is a good colour match for the Jag's own power button. The latching is nice and sturdy with a very rewarding 'click'. Will be keeping these in mind for any other similar projects.

More than just a black repaint
Whenever Hasbro releases a new Optimus Prime figure, it's inevitable that they'll repaint it into Nemesis Prime sooner or later. PotP Evolution Optimus Prime is good enough that I was on board for that from the start but, when images finally surfaced, it was clear that they'd put a bit more effort into this one. Malevolent-looking new head sculpts for both Nemesis Prime and the smaller robot, Nemesis Pax, along with some new accessories (arm-mounted cannons resembling those worn by Armada Optimus Prime, but much larger and more detailed, as well as a new sword, the 'Dark Sabre' and an Arms Micron-inspired minion/weapon in the form of Giza) made this a must-buy for me... and, while it was first advertised as an Amazon exclusive, it has failed to materialise in the UK months after it should have become available.
Granted, it suffers from the same terrible Titans Return-style thin foil stickers as Optimus, and could have done with a few more applications of silver and/or metallic teal paint, but this is still a very cool interpretation of the character, and the mostly-black colourscheme disguises some of the mold's shortcomings that were more obvious on Optimus.
Giza is a particularly cute robotic bird that transforms into Nemesis Prime's second sword, but there doesn't appear to be any place for him to perch on the larger robot, nor is there any particularly useful storage spot for either sword when Nemesis Prime is in robot mode.
Bulky as it is, it does feel surprisingly light, though this doesn't seem to be at the expense of overall durability. I do find that the larger robot's new head doesn't stow in Pax's chest as cleanly, but its impact on transformation is negligible. He looks suitably imposing in both robot and vehicle modes, though adding the double-barrelled cannons to the sides of the trailer requires unpegging a couple of structural panels, as the sockets were added to the insides. This does leave gaping holes in the sides of the trailer, but otherwise has no real effect on its integrity.
The 'Dark Matrix of Leadership' in his chest can be removed, and the crystal centre replaced with a Prime Master (or a Titan Master for an even more macabre appearance) though, as with Optimus, this is purely a cosmetic change not an active, functional gimmick within the toy.
Overall, it's an excellent repurposing of an already great figure. It would have been acceptable had it been a simple repaint, but with the new heads and accessories, it's well worth tracking down. The only thing it's lacking, strangely, is the collectors' card that was packaged with every other Power of the Primes figure - not a massive loss!
