SNL Season 1
1 of 1 found this helpful My mother is a huge fan of the 70's era Saturday Night Live shows. For her birthday I decided to get her this set. I looked at Borders first and decided that for a collection that has been out for a year, a retail price of 70.00 was a little steep. Don't get me wrong, it's not that my mom isn't worth it, it's that I like to get the most out of my money. So I came to eBay and looked. There is a nice selection of used and new editions of this set here at a nice variety of prices. I thought I got a very good deal at around 35.00.
The set itself comes in a great box and includes a book with cast photos from the first season. The pictures in the book are really wonderful, and my mom and I both really enjoyed them. It's an 8 DVD set with each episode on its own disc. I didn't get a chance to watch any of the episodes yet, but I'm hoping to. Mom has watched them and she loved it. It's an excellent collection for old school SNL fans, and fans of classic 70's music. I know that next year I will be buying Mom Season 2.
