Good OEM mags
Ive never had an issue on a Savage 64 or with the magazines. For $20 each these are as low as the price will go.

Inexpensive, but not cheap, this is a great quality holster
The holster is made of a single piece of leather, and folded around the firearm, with the seem being along side the trigger guard and dust cover. It does not have details hardened into the leather like cocking serrations which are on the slide or the seam between the slide and frame, like on more expensive holsters. However, the firearm fits reassuringly snug, not stuck in or loose with play, in the holster. DeSantis clearly took care in measuring and cutting the holster to the proper dimensions. Further, the squared off, box design of a GLOCK lends itself to fitting easily into a holster.
The leather itself is uniform in appearance, and strikes a good medium between being firm but soft and pliable. Moreover, the holster design completely enshrouds the trigger guard, with this firm leather, protecting anything from coming in contact with the trigger. The snap on the thumb break is also a good quality, closing with a crisp snap, and coming undone with a deliberate nudge by the thumb. It is reinforced with a piece of metal between 3 sheets of leather, and by those 3 sheets of leather themselves.
Further, those 3 sheets of leather on the side of the holster, on the opposite side from the plastic clip actually do add some noticeable width the design. I was skeptical at first, but after wearing the holster for a few weeks, when I add this up, with the clip and total width of the holstered-firearm it's a somewhat wider than expected package. But the square design of the GLOCK, and especially box shaped rear of the slide are what make it print.
I plan to almost exclusively secure the holster to my trousers, by way of the plastic clip for IWB carry. However, for shooting with this pistol for qualification, I'm required to affix it to my belt, no clips allowed, which means that having the OWB belt loop saves me from having to buy an entirely separate holster. I like this aspect of the holster, since this is not my primary pistol for carry, so whenever I want to carry this pistol, I can rely on this holster.
The plastic clip let's the holster slip down until only the grip is exposed above the waist line. The clip which grabs your belt grabs onto the belt securely, and will keep the holster in place while drawing. You cannot adjust the clip freely, to angle the draw however you want. It must fit into 1 of 5 preset positions. So I think most people will use the straight up and down, draw position,as I do, and works just fine.
In all, this is a great holster for $25, it secures the firearm, and is one of few on the market which is IWB and offers retention. I own several holsters from a fee companies, and DeSantis consistently builds a quality holster.
