Don't believe the hype
0 of 1 found this helpful I read the reviews on how great this vacuum is. Well if you have builder grade carpet all over your house, maybe it will be the vacuum for you. If you have higher pile carpet like many newer homes have or if you have a combination of carpet and hardwood or tile, this vacuum will fail. For carpeting, if you have higher pile, you HAVE to use the low setting. Even then it is very difficult to push even though it's only 11 lbs. Forget using high, you will never get it to work right. Because it self adjusts, it allows the beater bar to be too close to the carpet and the suction make it stick to the carpet and you cannot push it well. For hard surfaces (wood or tile) you cannot turn off the beater bar so anything on the floor will just shoot out the back as the beater bar throws it that way. The vacuum is supposed to work well over all surface types and adjust on it's own. Well this did not work out so well. The vacuum comes with a canister vac. This thing is garbage. It's loud and does not work all that well. We had an older hoover windtunnel bagless and it worked a LOT better than this "Platinum" model. Even our cheap bissell works better. At least with the bissell you can turn off the beater bar so you can actually vacuum a hard surface. I will give it an average rating, but given the price for this thing, I shoud rate it poor.

Great TINY unit.
I didn't know how small it was until I got it. It's great. I plan on using it mainly when cutting grass and it's so small I can hook it to the mower and use Bluetooth headphones.
