Love it!
Excellent CD from the small US label Bloodshot Records............highly recommended. A very different 'country' sound. It will test your hi-fi's ability to re-produce a real life soundstage.

Worthy of being part of any jazz music collection.
This is an excellent CD by the great jazz bassist, Brian Bromberg. If you love smooth jazz trios then you are in for a treat. Some of the tracks are atrio of Piano, Drums, and Bass, some are just duets for piano and bass and some are bass solos. I think the double bass (or 'Wood' bass hence the CD's title) is a great jazz instrument and this is well recorded, has excellent vituosic playing and all in all is a great CD.
