A really enlightening and up lifting read.
I purchased this book on the recomendation of my therapist. I was a bit sceptical about the relevance of the book to me and how much i would enjoy reading it.
The first few pages did indeed make me feel irritated, especially when he attributes all anxiety to death anxiety origins hmmmmm..........
Nearly put it down, but something about the wondefully crafted way in which the book is written compelled me to continue, and how glad am i that i did.
I still disagree in as much as i don't believe all anxiety stems from death anxiety, but i do conceed that for me anyway this could be true of many incidences.
I love the way he has taught me how enriching connecting more deeply with others can be. I love that he demonstrated that even though like myself he believes there is just nothingness after death, how ever we leave ripples of ourselves behind.
By the end of the book i felt truely uplifted and could not wait to share with my therapist all that i had learned from it.
A really enlightening read, and i personally feel much more at peace with myself
