Good replacement capacitor for 24" Maxair floor fan.
Needed a new capacitor for my 24" Maxair floor fan. This was the correct rating, and size. Fan works as it should now.

7 of 7 found this helpful Overall, the quality is good. Couple of minor problems to fix. The 4 springs that hold up the sliding support ring are too stiff, and would not allow a standard wheel to slide far enough down to properly contact the centering cone. I removed them and cut off about 1.25 inches, this allowed the wheel to settle down to the cone and center the wheel. Also the 3 screws that hold and adjust the balance bubble are too coarse for the purpose. I replaced them with same size fine thread machine screws, they work much better. These 2 problems could easily be corrected at the factory before the machine is ever shipped out. Other buyers have reported these same issues.
