Genuine PSU.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have received the PSU and this is an original part, at a decent price. Watch out for that you have the correct connector size as that may vary between models (model name ADP-65DW C , if it is same model name but A in the end than you have different size plug). Since i use my laptop at home as a desktop than it is very nice to have one adapter for traveling and one for "desktop" use, fixed in location, that way the other can be ready in my travel back pack f.x.
Asus makes really solid things so no reliability issues ever for them.

Exstensive manual for the W124 series Mercedes.
I have not had the chance to compare this to and original workshop manual but a lot of these info are really good to have when you run as old car as these are getting (best car ever though!)
The one thing i would like more detailed are the electrical drawings, i don´t have the original so it´s hard to estimate how many there are, and how many just show pin-out of controller/computer (because, VDO, Bosch, and other have the complete drawing of the insides)
This is a must own item if you are going to work on the W124, some things are really easy to work out, but other systems are not clear until you read the intended method of doing them.

Everything as described
Installed it into my Asus UX303UB and get the 3-4 hours in real use out of it as when my laptop was new. Install for these laptops is quite easy for the handy person, while you are in there replace the thermal compound for CPU and GPU at the same time ! But the battery worked fine and could not find any faults with it, charged right away. The old one lasted 2 years before it started going downhill, and after 500-700 charging cycles the capacity drops like a rock (check the Asus website for chart), now i can use the computer unplugged like when it was new, it would be lovely if they would upgrade the battery technology as well and give it even more capacity, but this is more then enough. Not much more to say about this, the photos are exactly the same as the product and this looks and feels genuine.
