Peters Product Review: Apollo KosoAM111030 heated Grips
I have fitted the grips to my Honda Africa Twin CRF1000L. In order to fit the grips I had to trim around 5mm from the far end if each grip. I used a small razor saw to achieve a neat and clean cut. The grips are a very snug fit and I had to use a rubber mallet to get them on to the handlebars. I then used a large socket to tap them in to the final position. On the throttle side I had to trim off the ridge on the bikes throttle grip. The wiring as very straightforward
running the wires back under the tank to my power distribution unit. I made sure there was sufficient slack on the hotted side and then cable tied the wire in to place. I position the control buttons just below where I move my thumb to touch the bikes indicator switch. The grips worked fine out if the box. I would have liked a bit more heat on the highest setting but that might be as the temperature has been quiet warm and it my be I would feel the effect more in a colder day.
