2 Axis Digital Readout For Milling Lathe Machine With Precision Linear Scale
    23 March 2018
Works well, seems to be quality built
Was easy to install (we were replacing a failing decades-old Mitutoyo readout) on a Bridgeport vertical mill. We were able to use the old Mitutoyo brackets for mounting, so I can't speak as to the ease of using the included brackets, although they seemed to be heavy duty enough for industrial use. Plenty of features. Works as well as our old one used to. Accuracy is within a thousandth or two across 20+ inches of X travel. We waited to see how good this one before deciding on a second one. We're ordering another one today!

Very basic phone that leaves much to be desired.
Inexpensive phone - you get what you pay for. Battery life is below par. Some days, even though I don't "use" the phone (3G on, WiFi off, no calls) I need to recharge by 2 PM to make sure I can make it through the rest of the day. Don't bother downloading a Task Killer as it's not needed with the Android 2.x system (it has built-in task handling that puts unused tasks in a sort of sleep mode). Memory is very limited. The Sprint bloatware uses up all but about 150Mb of internal storage and the Over-The-Air updates often fill up the remaining space, causing annoying warnings about low space. (I ended up rooting the phone to allow me to remove bloatware and reconfigure the SD card as "internal" memory. If you have to ask what ROOTING is, then you shouldn't be messing with it!) Keyboard is cramped, but adequate. Touch screen is usually fine, but on many occasions, it is not as responsive as one would expect. Screen is small, making details and small text difficult to read. The processor is only a 600 MHz, which by phone standards, is about like running a Pentium processor in today's Quad-core world. The phone often lags, especially if there are any background programs running, such as your calendar, messaging, alarms, etc. (Again, skip the Task Killers on this phone as they end up causing battery drain). THE BAD: I have replaced my Replenish once due to the internal wiring being faulty causing charging problems. I have also replaced my son's twice and had it repaired twice, mostly for charging issues, but recently due to the power button breaking off from the circuit board inside (considered "physical damage" and not exchangeable without the insurance plan). The quality of the internal workings seems to be mediocre, at best. Even as an entry-level phone, you should be able to expect a quality built phone with adequate storage. If you are buying this phone thinking that it is a good indication of the Android family of phones, think again. The only thing this phone gives you a taste of is the basic Android system. Beyond that, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. When my contract is up, I'll be looking for another phone and another plan - probably with a different carrier - to avoid the additional costs of a data plan that Sprint charges with its other Android phones. If you are looking for the basic Android features, but don't care about apps, storage, or speed, then this phone is probably fine for you. If you plan to add any apps, need storage for email, texts, or other data, or if you want something fast, then look elsewhere. You'll only be disappointed by this "green" phone.
