Great Addition to Your MST3k Library
This was a one off since it was signed by most of the principal cast. That makes it worth the extra money to a collector. The previous owner(s) took good care of the set. The discs were flawless and the dust jacket and case had limited, acceptable wear being as it is almost 20 years old.
Speaking more broadly about volume 10, if you really like MST3K, the Godzilla episode is an excellent addition to anyone's library. The movie is terrible. The plot is awful. The actors are sterile. The dubbing is classically terrible. The special effects are laughable and the suits are rubber making them very easy targets for good riffs.
The other movies, Swamp Diamonds, Teenage Strangler, and Giant Spider invasion, are good, but all are available to stream and in other volumes making them not as special. When Rhino released this volume, they did not secure the rights to the Godzilla movie. The producers weren't very happy with MST3K anyway due to the riffs. There is almost no chance that this episode or the other Godzilla episode will ever stream or be available to purchase as a re-issue. If you see a copy of it that fits your budget, you will not be disappointed. The other episodes plus the Giant Gills Monster are available on the 10.2 version, which is much more budget friendly.
This is a must for any MST3k completionist, along with the other "lost" volumes: 14, 17, 31, & 34 and the out of print singles: Red Zone Cuba, Wild World of Batwoman, Beginning of the End, and season 13 which was only available to crowdsource funders.
