About
a no reserve auction shouldn't include a minimum bid. it should be called a small reserve auction...fraud on the fly with a b.s. excuse...gotta love it, everyone in business does these days! your grandparents would kick your butt

A little fetchin' and wrenchin'
Seems these days i've been focsing on my favorite pastimes. Major road trips, and minor repair and maintenance on vehicles. I do think i beat my vehicles just so i can feel closer to them as i fix things back to spec. Anyhow, i win this bike on ebay, and while i'm trying to figure out how to have it shipped, i decide to run out myself (good idea?).
Let me abridge it all.
1. Rent a cargo van, drive 12 hours stright through some really pretty (albeit drought killed) areas.
2. Set of comeback tiedowns.
3. Waste a lot of Ric and Patrick's time (owner/operators of se-cycle supply)
4. hotel room for a nice 8 hours.
5. Awaken and repeat with bike in-tow (smoke alot)
6. act a fool with a sh*t-eating grin for another 12 hours.
Viola! you now own a bike.
The guys who i bought the bike from were pretty helpful in the scheme of things. Helping me load and secure my bike. Keeping my head straight (if truly possible) as i babbled from road fatigue while i was there.
Well it's a nice bike. Has what i would have done to it myself. Oh, and the guys thought it might have had a carb issue, but that's ok...upon closer inspection, it was a dirty k/n intake filter...a little filter cleaner and new oil took care of that. The Vance and Hines longshot exhaust is very loud and crisp now. Might have a cam, feels like a beast at idle...so nice.
anyhow it was a good experience, feel like i made a good decision, and saved a couple of bucks considering these retail over $9,000 and i paid $7000 all-said-and-done.
