Too weak
1 of 1 found this helpful There is hardly 2W of output power. I've disassembled it and reviewed the scheme. Powered with a 6V bat, amplified through TEA2025 scheme which hardly gives 4W with 9V supply, according to datasheet. The supplied 6V accumulator seems to be not safe as I can hear a disturbing boiling sound when charging.
I've bought some parts to make my own amp schematic, and they already cost more than half of it's price. All I actually got from this - is a plastic corpus. Thanks for experience though. Cool toy for kids, but in fact I scream louder than it.

Works as a charm. Combined with an other Ripjaws 8+8 kit. Same clocks, same speed, no problems
