Excellent book, well worth buying whether you know the area or not

Really enjoyed this book. The photographs have been well chosen and are reproduced clearly. The descriptions of the area are excellent as are the well researched historical notes. I would indeed consider purchasing this book as a present for my friends who, like me, grew up in the area and are now in distant parts!
