Mine worked as soon as batteries installed....
This refurbished handset didn't need pairing it worked as soon as batteries were installed also looked like new. No worn buttons had it about a month now without any issues. Check your model number for getting the right remote control.

Speed up at switch on and beyond....
I had 2 x 4GB in my Laptop and used to wait ages to wake up out of sleep mode. I have found that the 2 x 8GB has made a big difference not only to switch on but running multiple programs.
