Excellent scooter, so much fun
7 of 7 found this helpful This is my 1st electric vehicle, purchased it mainly for quick runs to the local shop & to take the dogs out for a run, but now I use it daily, as most my travel is under 10km. It doesn’t quite do what they say in the specs, I am 90kg & only get about 20km range on a charge, but this is also using it on the high speed setting, the slow speed just isn’t for me, lol. It happily cruises at 30km on flat ground & downhill I have got it to 49.54 can be quite scary at this speed on some of the local bike paths.
My friend lives 14k away, it’s mostly all downhill to his place, going there takes 25min & 40 min home as its mainly uphill, the 1st time I went I had to walk it home for the last 5k as it just didn’t have enough battery left as it’s all uphill, but it would still drive itself I just had to walk alongside it. So now I just take the charger & give it a top up while I’m visiting. The next thing I will purchase for it is a lithium battery, but their expensive.
The build quality is much better than I expected, it’s very comfortable riding around sitting on the seat,
The only problem I have found so far, is that the head unit needs to be tightened every 2nd or 3rd trip & the taillight bracket kept bending down, so it ended up causing the light to rub on the wheel before destroying it.
I highly recommend this if you want something for those short (under 20km) trips, just think of the petrol you will save
