The Garmin GSD 24 Sounder Module quality...
The Garmin GSD 24 Sounder Module quality was outstanding. The unit was used but came with literally zero indication it was previously owned. The paint on the unit’s mounts wasn’t even scratched. I inspected the product very closely just trying to find any indication it was used and no could find nothing. I believe this purchase was an outstanding value, after removing my older model sounder, this one installed very quickly. The transducer being used was an older model that had a 6-pin connector, and the GSD 24 has an eight pin connector so, I had to install an interface box that I also purchased from this seller. All in all, the installation was very easy and the sonar screen on my chart plotter came to life as soon as power was applied. I am totally satisfied with my purchase after the first day of ownership.
